Save Windows XP! The clock is ticking

Microsoft will end OEM and shrink-wrapped sales of Windows XP on June 30, 2008, forcing users to shift to Vista. (System builders, meaning those who do white-box PCs, can sell XP through December 31.) Don’t let that happen!

Gmail not loading?

Recently Gmail has not been loading correctly and just shows a blank screen even when using Gmail notifier!

After clicking Sign in, a blank white page is shown. You may see “Loading…” or “This seems to be taking longer than usual.”

A conflict with software on your computer, browser cache that needs to be cleared, or a temporary problem on the Gmail server.

Sharp MX copier printer goes offline

One of our Sharp MX MultiFunction Printer / Scanner / Fax / Copier (MX3501N) went offline on the network today, because it required Maintenance (FK3), it still works fine though and all that is needed to get it back online, until a technician arrives, is to untick “SNMP status”

Start > Printers > right click the offlined MX printer > click Properties > Configure port > Untick SNMP status
